Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), a leader in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), continues the 2020 LIMS Webcast series on Wednesday, May 13th with The Critical Role of LIMS in Today’s Environmental Laboratory. This event will focus on key challenges faced by environmental laboratories and the central role of LIMS in addressing these challenges. The webcast will also feature a discussion with ATL customer, Joelie Zak, Vice President of Scientific Control Laboratories (SCL) who will cover SCL’s use of laboratory automation and the benefits that ATL Sample Master® LIMS has brought to her laboratory.

There are many challenges facing environmental laboratories today beginning with the fact that these labs are in very competitive industry marked by intense price competition and consolidation. In addition, many environmental laboratories are required to achieve and maintain accreditation for quality and industry standards like ISO 17025 or NELAP. Finally, there are some key environmental issues in the news that are impacting labs around the country today

During this webcast, Joelie Zak will also introduce attendees to her company, Scientific Control Laboratories, and talk about their laboratory operations and the impact that their LIMS and lab automation has played in the company’s success. SCL Attends Fabtech

The recent FABTECH tradeshow and conference at McCormick Place in Chicago was a great success for Scientific Control Laboratories. Despite the bad weather that hit Chicago with record breaking snow totals, the event recorded a 7% increase over the previous event held in Chicago. Over 48,000 attendees from 95 countries participated in the four full days of product discovery, education and collaborative discussions on key industry issues.

SCL’s Safety & Industrial Hygienist Helps ASSP Chapter to Gold Award

Scientific Control Labs Receives Nadcap Merit Status with Accreditation Renewal

Scientific Control Laboratories (SCL) has earned renewal of their Nadcap accreditations in ISO/IEC 17025 quality management and testing services with the honor of receiving Merit Status. SCL will have an extended 24-month accreditation term for the most recent renewal by the auditors from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) certification for Quality Systems, and Chemical Processing for Independent Testing Laboratories.
