Waste water treatment personnel are obligated to fulfill ongoing training requirements in their field. In this training program, participants are prepared for the Illinois “Class K” license examination for a typical wastewater treatment system used in treating the effluent from industrial operations.
Topics include:
- Segregation of Waste Water
- Cyanide Oxidation
- Chromium Reduction
- pH Adjustment/Flocculation
- Clarification Polishing Filters
- Troubleshooting
- Basic Math for Wastewater Treatment Operators
At the end of this 1-day classroom training course, students will understand the chemical and technical aspects of running an industrial wastewater treatment system, as well as be prepared to pass a wastewater operator exam.
