Notice Regarding COVID-19
The health and safety of our employees and our clients is a top priority. Due to the concern surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are continuously monitoring this situation and will continue to follow the guidelines recommended by the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC), local, and regional government agencies.
Our two locations: Scientific Control Labs and Admiral Environmental Services are operating as usual as many of you have compliance monitoring to continue to do. Our dedicated staff is still working at the lab, analyzing your samples, with a sufficient amount of “distancing” between employees.
We have implemented the following actions to support the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and community.
- Enhanced cleaning of our facilities
- Increased personal hygiene measures
- Limiting non-essential business travel
- Having our consulting and engineering staff work from home
- Working staggered shifts at the lab to ensure proper distancing between analysts

SCL’s Safety & Industrial Hygienist Helps ASSP Chapter to Gold Award
Congratulations are in order as Eric Dangoy, industrial hygienist and safety professional for Scientific Control Labs recently helped the Greater Chicago Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) accept the Gold Chapter Award for the 2018-2019 year!

Scientific Control Labs Receives Nadcap Merit Status with Accreditation Renewal
Scientific Control Laboratories (SCL) has earned renewal of their Nadcap accreditations in ISO/IEC 17025 quality management and testing services with the honor of receiving Merit Status. SCL will have an extended 24-month accreditation term for the most recent renewal by the auditors from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) certification for Quality Systems, and Chemical Processing for Independent Testing Laboratories.

Scientific Control Laboratories Implements a New LIMS System

(SCL) has announced the implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Sample Master TM, a software system that optimizes lab instrument resources and to enhance SCL’s testing and lower detection analytical capabilities for decades to come.
