SCL’s Safety & Industrial Hygienist Helps ASSP Chapter to Gold Award
Congratulations are in order as Eric Dangoy, industrial hygienist and safety professional for Scientific Control Labs recently helped the Greater Chicago Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) accept the Gold Chapter Award for the 2018-2019 year!
Presented at the 2019 National Safety Expo in New Orleans last month, awards ranging from bronze to platinum are given to ASSP Chapters based on the value they offer members, and how effectively they promote safety to their communities.
Thought the qualifying year, Eric served as Second Vice President for the Greater Chicago Chapter as they organized educational meetings on topics such as hazardous chemical Risk Assessment and the CTA’s Safety Management System; and awarded their first continuing education (CEU) grant in December.
Starting in July, Eric will be helping to keep the momentum going for another year while serving as President of the Greater Chicago Chapter for ASSP.
